So what’s the startup and who are the founders behind it? Here’s the story of Fyxer AI 📈

Fyxer AI was founded in October 2023 by brothers Richard & Archie Hollingsworth and Matthew Ffrench with the vision to build the world’s best email AI assistant.

Fyxer AI is like a super-smart assistant that helps startups run their day-to-day operations.

Backstory 👀

Brothers Richard and Archie Hollingsworth were raised on a rural farm, far from Sand Hill Road and SaaS Twitter. 🧑‍🌾

 Both started out in finance, craving speed and intensity. 💨 Instead, they found boredom. So they started meeting over lunch in London, kicking around startup ideas. 

There was just one problem: no network, no capital, and no product. 😞

So they did what most startup bros don’t — they got their hands dirty.

In 2017, long before ChatGPT hype cycles, they launched Fyxer, a fractional executive assistant agency. 

The idea was tactical 💡: provide C-suite-level support to tech founders, build a killer network, and learn the workflows people actually cared about.

Their go-to-market was hilariously scrappy: handwritten notes, white-glove service, and “ludicrously unscalable” onboarding.

The result? Rave reviews, rapid referrals, and a clear niche: premium, always-on EA support. 💎

At peak, Fyxer had 80 staff and hit $5M ARR — all bootstrapped. 💸

The Hustle 🤑

Scaling people is painful. To go from $5M to $10M ARR meant doubling headcount. They weren’t interested.

Fyxer AI then got into the most selective AI residency for repeat founders: HF0.

The team moved to San Francisco for 3 months to turn this idea into reality.

Why it works 🤓

💸 As for revenue, here’s how they’ve done since launch - ARR Timeline:

• October 2024 – Paid launch

• December 2024 – $1M ARR

• May 2025 (Now) - $9M ARR (60% MoM growth)

• End of May target – $10M ARR

• EoY goal – $25–30M ARR

💰 On March 24th 2025, Fyxer AI raised a $10 million Series A led by 20VC with participation from Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, billionaire Marcelo Claure (former COO of SoftBank), David Singleton (former CTO of Stripe), ex-Airbnb executive Lenny Ratchinsky, and Formula One champion Nico Rosberg.
